I'M STILL SHORT OF A MILLION

If Fred Schäfer (the celebrated author) is right, then all of you must pick up your socks. Yes, I am still short of a million readers of this book. My mother will not mind, but Fred will be disappointed. My inherent humility does not allow me to agree with him. Well, not publicly.
Seriously, though, my publisher made it easy:

"The Gate - Things my Mother told me" draws you in with subtlety, wit, compassion and faith. An intriguing and captivating look at the last sixty years of western culture that holds you even though we all know how her story is going to end. It will be of particular interest to people who experienced Alzheimer's or Dementia in their immediate family.

I couldn't put it better myself. Yet there is more to the novel. In spite of the seemingly serious nature, the book is full of humor. And for those of you who cannot live without an element of sex, you'll find that too. Yes, in an Old Peoples' Home. Now you see what I meant about humor? You've got to read it to believe me. (Many did, but, as I said, I'm still short of a million!)

***

As always, my publisher likes to add a few excerpts from reviews:

Beautiful and Moving!
.....a beautiful memoir and an exceptional experience of a lady, Mrs. Kordos, meeting with her own mortality through the face of Alzheimer’s.  ...The dialogue is beautifully composed with humor and seriousness conveying with perfect fluidity the gravity of each moment. To experience something so real, moving and meaningful is a gift. I highly recommend it!

Amy Taylor, USA, from a  5-star review

A Perfect Joy
..... This book is one of those books for the soul. It's the kind of book you can sit on the porch or balcony with a cold drink and the sun on your face and when you finish, you feel changed. Relish it.
Brian, USA, from a 5-star review

Powerful and Heartfelt
The GATE is a moving, heartbreaking story...  ...It must have been a challenge to write such a deeply personal book...  ...This is easily Law's most personal and heartfelt work and is easily my favorite book that he has written.

Kevin Lintner USA from  a 5-star review

A haunting, contemplative work
The writing has classical grandeur and poetic beauty, the characters are vividly drawn... ...This is a jewel of a piece of writing, with an honesty that makes transcendence and incontinence equally noble a part of the narrative. If you value the life of the mind, this book is for you.
Kate Jones, USA from a 5-star review

...and a dozen others. I'd love to hear from you. Your thoughts cheer me up. Mother's been gone for quite a while, now, yet, somehow, she's still here...

THE ETERNAL NOW

Have you noticed that sometimes, when you take a nap for just a few minutes the dream you vaguely remember seems to have lasted for hours? If not, get into a habit of having some pencil and paper, or a recording device next to your bed, and jot down the memory of you dreams the moment you wake up. After a while you'll begin to remember more and more of your dreams. That's how it works. The results are equal to the efforts.

The point is that time, as we know it, is a dimension of our "waken" reality and none other. Actually it does exist in realities of higher frequencies of vibration, but even as the frequencies increase, time seems to slow down. The exact same happens to people in a coma.
Ultimately, time remains a factor in all levels of Devachan, until one merges with the Omnipresent Creative Energy of Consciousness, which is beyond any and all limitations. It is imperative to remember that an individualization of of this Consciousness in present in every life-form, although few if any are capable of realizing this fact. Some of us are aware of this presence as our Higher Self. The late Evelyn Monahan in her book "The Miracle of Metaphysical Healing" illustrates this fact explicitly. The realization of this presence offers us fantastic powers. It is wise, however, to remember that we bear consequences of ALL our thoughts, emotions, and actions.
Please, don't think me presumptuous when I say that that's how our Phenomenal Universe works. Cause & Effect are the bywords of our phenomenal existence.

  ***
And this brings us to my novel, NOW—Being & Becoming. Being represents our permanent existence personified by our Higher Self, and Becoming is the transient illusory persona, a product generated by our brain, which we know as Ego.
Nevertheless, to quote Einstein, "albeit a very persistent one." If we succeed in enhancing the Phenomenal Universe, i.e.: the reality of our Becoming, the qualities of our transient persona are reincarnated to continue the good work. Not good for us, but for the universe.r
The story is outlined at retailers.

My Publisher added just a few excerpts from reviews to whet your appetite.

Exceptional Experience!
.....Law’s ability to create a story that transcends the typical boundaries never ceases to amaze me. He has an uncanny ability to build a whole world around you that you are completely immersed in. .....Everything comes to life - the scenery, the noises, tastes, smells, thoughts, feelings, science, urgency and so much more....  For an unparalleled experience, I highly recommend it!
Ally McMahon, Author USA, 5-star review

A supreme exploration of mortality
I am astounded beyond words by the scope and breadth of this author’s ability to create and sculpt books which so perfectly challenge and intrigue the mind as he has done in every single volume I’ve read of his masterpieces.... He is truly a genius of our time.
Monica LaSarre, Author. USA, 5-star review
 Peregrinations of the Mind
An extraordinary puzzle audaciously put together! How he can sustain what is basically a stream of consciousness for 300 spellbinding pages reminds of Mozart's tour de forces of weaving together four or more counterpoints.
Kate Jones, USA, 5-star review
 Stunning
Stan I.S. Law does it again! I'm legitimately shocked at this author's range. From science fiction to fantasy to this wild exploration of the subconscious mind, there seems to be no subject he can't tackle..... I enthusiastically recommend this book to lovers of a good book. It will change you.
Brian, USA, 5-star review
 Masterful
NOW—Being and Becoming is another fantastic read from one of my favorite authors, Stan I.S. Law. .....It is a masterful work... ...Law writes the way a master artist paints, filling his literary canvas with brilliant descriptions that stay with you long after you have reached the end of the book...
Kevin Lintner, USA, 5-star review
Just read it and follow the flow - a brilliant novel
...If I had come across this book ten or twenty years ago I would have read it several times and given it 10 stars. .....The love story that forms part of this book is timeless, original and absolutely splendid. I do recommend this book without hesitation... .....Just read it and follow the flow and you will be rewarded and amazed.

BE PREPARED

The fundamental difference between the Age of Pisces and the new Age of Aquarius is that we, the whole human species, will no longer be lead by the "Few", but we will be given the opportunities to make our own decisions. While, until the majority of us learn to do so, the world will go through a stage of extreme disorder. Lack of leadership, yet individual inability to make decisions, cannot but result in a period of unholy mess.
Yet, there is always some reason for every madness.

With the Earth vastly overpopulated, the period of disorder might well serve to reduce our numbers, which would help to save our planet from exploitation by a single species, by us, at the expense of both, flora and fauna. We must learn is that the Earth belongs to all of us. And that the knowledge of the rules of the game of life rests deep within us.

What I am offering below is a sample of a selection of blogs, collected over a number of years, which discuss dispassionately a variety of subjects. In the forthcoming absence of leadership, they might fall into the category of personal decisions. There are six such collections, tackling more then 500 subjects that might stir your imagination and, hopefully, inspire you to draw your own decision. Below a partial selection from one of the collections.

85 BLOGS: July. 2014—July 2015

SELECTED BLOGS:

Heaven
Dukkha and Other Misfortunes
The Third Party
The Inner Reality
More than Human?
The Purpose of Life
Submission
Ol' Man River
The Illusion of Free Will
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Consequences
Retribution
Remembering Einstein
Artificial Intelligence
The Immortal Atheist
Escape to Paradise
and MANY MORE.

Feel free to share your own thoughts on any and all of the subjects. After all, this is exactly what is expected to happen during this New Age. As the Age of Aquarius is going to last for more than 2000 years, it might well cover a number of our reincarnations. It might be wise to broaden our outlook on a greater variety of subjects.
Remember, the ideas in the blogs are mine. The blogs are intended to stir your own imaginations which, according to Albert Einstein, "will take you everywhere." Our time has come... It is time to stand on our own feet. We all have to do it.
Enjoy your trip and, good luck! But most of all...

SURE YOU WANNA BE A GOD?

You sure you want to be a god? Well, ask Winston. Winston Smith. I don't want to give the plot away, but, surely, you must agree that gods wield power. First on Earth. It could be mental, or political, or even economical like our  billionaires. But then what? A nearby planet, then a solar system. Eventually a galaxy?

Where would you stay in the meantime, in a nearby friendly Holiday Inn on the galaxy next door?
You sure you want to be a god?

OK. You start humbly. You get a dozen people to follow you. You tell them all you know. After all, you picked up quite a lot in your previous reincarnations. The people might or might not appreciate you, but if you do your job well, you go up. Perhaps, like Father Pio of Petrochina you won't even need a rocket, like our billionaires, but still you'll move up to look after a bigger chunk of the Phenomenal Universe.
Aren't we lucky that the Phenomenal Universe is just an illusion? An illusion of swirling electrons around their invisible nuclei that virtually are just empty space. Or is it just our scientists' concept of  becoming a god ruling over an illusory  universe?

That's it. I'll sit back, close my eyes, relax, and create my own world. My own reality. Within me... if just for a few seconds, or minutes, I shall be immortal. Like god. Like a god surrounded by beauty and diversity. And then I'll open my eyes and if I'm lucky the Paradise will be still there. Still be here. Suddenly all the trees, and birds, and squirrels chasing each other upside-down on the thickest branch are alive... aren't they all miracles?
And the sky... just look at those clouds...
    Abstract designs like no other.
Hey... a minute ago they were just in my dreams, and now... they are real. All around me...
Maybe I am a god. God in making?
I wonder how Winston does it...

THE CURSE OF IMMORTALITY

Immortality does not appear to be quite as most religions seem to tell us. Although I haven't visited the Heavenly environs lately, I suffer from serious doubts that there are angels floating around on filigree wings, saintly figures bending low in front of an image of a ancient, benevolent God. Of course, since in the eternal universe there must, by now, be trillions of saints floating around, they have to do it from afar.

It seems to me, that between Heaven and Earth nothing much changes. Both are States of Consciousness. I'd suggest that Consciousness is the only reality. We create an abundance of different, perhaps an infinite number of them, each exhibiting different frequencies of vibration. The sooner we become aware of this, the nicer will be the environs to which we advance.
Hence, waiting to "go" to Heaven till you die, is foolhardy.
    Why?
Because the sort of Heaven that religions promise us simply does not exist. Eternal rest, as in "requiescat in pace" for eternity, is for me the most boring concept of Heaven. In fact, it sounds like my idea of Hell.
I like action, challenges, creation, beauty and diversity...
"Eternal rest" destroys the joys of life. Destroys all hope of realization of dreams held throughout life on Earth.

 ***
What does exist are realities of progressively higher frequencies of vibrations of energy, which, when realized, give us more power over the environment, over the reality we create. All this may sound like total nonsense to those who do not accept the scientific dictum that "all is energy", and until they experience their first "lucid dream".
    Then... the proverbial penny drops.
    The doubters become believers.
Lucid dreams are also subject to universal laws, thus denying us absolute freedom, but once learned they are as heavenly environs as one can hope for. And, for some reason, they become unforgettable.
What changes substantially are our attitudes, our perceptions of reality, our abilities to enjoy them. Yet, what really changes is our State of Consciousness. The reality itself seems to be the same we've left behind, only richer in our eyes. But our control over it swells exponentially. As the dreams repeat, we keep discovering new abilities, new talents which we never imagined we possessed.
Trust me. If Heaven is anything like a lucid dream then you can choose to rest in eternal boredom, while I'll continue to have eternal fun. Your choice. We are gods. We create our realities, remember?
    So, again, why the CURSE?
Because we are destined to abide, forever and ever, in the consequences of our past. "Cause and effect" is an immutable law of nature. Hence, we'd better listen to our Saviours. They seem to have known what they were talking about.

BEWARE OF THE ZODIAC

All sources of authority which, for whatever reason, continue to control peoples' minds, behaviour patterns, or any aspect of their lives will fall. The purpose of the Age of Aquarius is to create conditions in which all people are forced to think for themselves. The termination of those who impose their will on others applies not only to politics, religions, those controlling economies, news media and suchlike, but to all professionals who deem themselves experts in any and all disciplines.
This is the price the human species must pay for mental and emotional liberation. Until, like most other species, we learn to cope on our own, the world will go through a period of an unholy mess.
Under the circumstances, the professional organizations which enjoy almost complete control over the majority of peoples' lives, will fall. Whereas heretofore of the "Many that were called only a Few learned to wield authority", which had been necessary to sustain humanity which, as yet, remained at lower stages of mental development, their leadership will be terminated. While their stewardship assured our survival and unprecedented supremacy over other life forms, it also was responsible for our gross overpopulation the world over, at the expense of the rest of flora and fauna.
It is apparent that such conditions are against Universal Laws.
Also, let us not forget, that a single virus can still have a deadly effect on our bodies. There ways of overcoming such effects, mostly by mental efforts. The power is within us.
 ***
What we do not appear to realize is that the Ages of the Zodiac have little to do with individual units of any species, but rather with the balancing of all life on our planet.
The imbalance is byproduct of  the profession of medicine. We have learned to rely on the medical expertise to save our lives to such a degree that we forgot the universal laws, which govern all nature. Over millennia, these laws have evolved to sustain our health, indeed, our lives. We ignored them for  the last few generations.
Lack of hygiene, sedentary lives, and generally misguided diet lead to ominously prevalent obesity. Without the medical profession, thousands if not millions of us would die prematurely. Yet, with the physicians' ability to remove painful symptoms, the abusers of natural laws survived and "multiplied". This applies to a number of diseases.
In addition, our gradual descent into abject materialism created a civilization that admires quantity over quality. We are supposed to evolve. Not evolve things and gadgets that make us lazy, but towards our own  infinite potential.

And now "nature," or the Omnipresent Energy of Creative Consciousness wagged Its illusory finger. First, the self-perpetuating viruses, then the torrential rains causing horrendous mud slides, flash floods, followed by unheard of droughts and the resultant fires, increased volcanic activity, inundations, and many other cataclysmic events will, in time, restore the balance.
We must never forget that the two fundamental Universal Laws are Diversity and Balance. We, our species, have upset both. Those who know, will take steps to escape with their lives. The energies generated by others will be recycled. That's what the Black Holes are for.

UNIVERSAL DELUSIONS

I published my book "DELUSIONS—Pragmatic Realism" already nine years ago. A few 5-star reviews and 10 more books later, I was inspired me to write a sequel which responded to questions raised in this book. The new title, nor surprisingly, was "CONCLUSIONS—Pragmatic Reality". I tried to answer all questions raised in the previous volume.

Surprisingly, this  sequel met with much smaller success. While people may have felt a certain superiority to those who's delusions prompted the first book, they probably refused to be identified with the weaknesses describe in book two.
The sad part is that, to my knowledge, I hardly touched on the delusions masquerading under the innumerable shams embedded in both, science and religion. Not all of them seemed intentional, and on the religious side they were much harder to identify.
    No matter.
As I mentioned in my previous blog on this subject, Karma will take  care of the transgressors, and eventually restore the universal balance. After all, as we know, there are neither punishments nor rewards, there are only consequences.

***

The new announcements in science are, of course, the discovery that the Phenomenal Universe has neither a temporal beginning nor will it ever end. The reality in which we live is a process. It's tangibility is as illusive and anything we can find in our dreams, no matter how seemingly realistic. We are now told that we, particularly our bodies, consist of energy which creates only an illusion of transient reality.
As for religions, the quagmire is even greater, though much more persistent. From the days of Moses, through a procession of prophets, ending with Yeshûa, we have been told that the immortal let alone divine aspect of our being is within us. We were assured that "God", referred to by Yeshûa as "Father", is in Heaven. What the religions forgot to tell us is that, according to the same authority, Heaven is within us. Hence all the creative energy which is responsible for our reality is within our own state of consciousness.
Surely, such attitude would upset all religions that aspire to control their faithful. The prophets, including Yeshûa, declared that we are gods. No you're not, said the priesthood of all ages. Aren't they deluding themselves?

The intertwining of the two disciplines that mislead us for so many millennia,  led me to this simple conclusion.
We, you and I, are inseparable components of the Omnipresent Energy of Creative Consciousness, that individualizes Itself within us. The purpose of this individualization is to evolve a method of increasing the diversity of the Phenomenal Universe. Once a brain capable of generating diverse energies of thought has evolved, establishing an unique Ego, the evolutionary purpose was satisfied. As the Original Creative Energy can only produce perfection, the human brain can generate energies of thought necessary to add to the diversity of the Phenomenal Universe. Through trial and error such diversity continues to be perfected.

The generation of new individualizations is also an ongoing process leading to the evolution of new Egos. In the fullness of time Ego and the Self will unite, thus enriching to Original Source. However, the fullness of time will only be achieved in infinity. The absence of either a temporal beginning or end results in the process of the eternal NOW.

OF GODS AND MEN

One would have thought, that since the celebrated cosmologist, Stephen Hawking, decided to agree with Aristotle of 384-322 B.C., that the Phenomenal Universe is eternal, by now, our world would be crawling with gods, or at least with people advanced by billions of years ahead of us.
There is a slight problem, though.
While evolution might advance some intelligent species well beyond our present abilities let alone our perceptions, it is more than likely that such entities would consist of and perceive much higher rates of vibrations. Hence, if there are such illustrious beings among us, they would remain invisible and imperceptible to our senses.
Also, they would be able to manipulate rates of vibrations of energies as only Yeshûa, a handful of saints, yogis and a handful of very advanced beings could do in our reality. Yet, according to those very same individuals, the seemingly absurd allegation is that, the ability to metamorphose the rates of energies into different phenomenal manifestations is latent, yet very much present, within every single one of us. Hence, while we are most assuredly not gods, we appear to have latent divine powers, which we refuse to recognize, let alone use.

If there are gods among us, they seem to occasionally make their presence known as, e.g.: in the Miracle of Fatima that occurred on 13th October 1917, attended by a large crowd. Otherwise it would have been an induced coordinated hallucination of a large crowd, which is equally as hard to explain by our scientific knowledge.
Thus, the advanced beings are either enjoying their continuous becoming in progressive Devachans, or, as mentioned, are invisible. Take your pick. But if they are merely invisible, than they would never fit on our Earth. After all, over infinity of time, their numbers must exceed anything we can possibly imagine.

***

I took another flight of fancy, to take care of our hidden talents. I showed that while the powers within are are rarely evident, they can be awakened under special circumstances. I am implying that such circumstances are now. If you read OLYMPUS—Of Gods and Men, you might agree. And if you read the whole Aquarius Trilogy you might learn how to get there yourself.
Your choice.
Having written the above, I might try to blow my own trumpet, but it is more gratifying to have it blown by others.

Below, just a few excerpts from reviews:

This novel plays in the future, but is it science fiction? Yes and No. ...If there were a genre called philosophical science fiction, that's where it probably would fit in nicely....a book that deserves to be read by millions of people.” From a review by Fred Schäfer, Author.

“I couldn't put this book down and was engrossed until the last page. This book is a masterpiece. From the review of WALL by Brian.

“This is definitely a coming of age story and the method in which it is told by Stan I.S. Law is pure genius.” From the review by TFLReader on Amazon.

“...this book is descriptive to the point where you, as the reader, are fully engulfed in an amazing fantasy world that will have you walking on his journey. Truly the work of a master!” From the review by Lazaro on Amazon.

I am astounded beyond words by the scope and breadth of this author’s ability to create and sculpt books which so perfectly challenge and intrigue the mind as he has done in every single volume I’ve read of his masterpieces. He is truly a genius of our time.“...I cannot resist a jam-packed, intellectual masterpiece from Stan I.S. Law.” From the review by Monica LaSarre, Author.

“This is a wondrous work:— wise, witty, enthralling. With the progression of the trilogy, we better understand Stan’s worldview—which is another way of saying that he has successfully beckoned us into his mysterious, mesmerizing world. That is a sign of a brilliant author, and Stan I.S. Law stands tall in that position. From the review by Grady Harp, HALL OF FAME TOP 100 REVIEWER.

FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE

Few passages from the scriptures have been so grossly misunderstood, thus misinterpreted, as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Until recently, when Einstein has proven that All is Energy (hence that everything perceptible to our senses is an Illusion) we had little choice but to interpret John of Patmos vision in terms of solid objects, such as riders and their horses. In addition, the interpreters saw everything in terms of religious mythology.
We know, however, that we are not just our bodies endowed with rudimentary artificial intelligence, but that essentially:

WE ARE STATES OF CONSCIOUSNESS

The whole Bible is based on, and motivated by, the Omnipresence of Spirit. If we substitute the words OMNIPRESENT ENERGY for OMNIPRESENT SPIRIT, we shall begin to understand what the Bible is about. Neither the prophets nor Yeshûa taught religion. They taught their understanding of reality.
Yeshûa, also known as Jesus, disliked religion lead by Scribes and Pharisees, (the priesthood of His day), intensely. He not only objected to any supernatural concepts, but did his best to convince his followers that whatever acts of his had been interpreted as miracles, were, in fact, perfectly natural, never denying the laws of nature. He further claimed that the powers he used to effect such deeds were available to every one of us. He offered us a simple formula

Everything that you shall ask my Father in my name
he shall give to you.”

Let us attempt to translate this into modern language, into modern idiom:

"When you direct your thoughts at the Omnipresent Creative Energy
that is Individualized within you,
this Energy will manifest your desires."

Or to put it even more explicitly, Albert Einstein assured us that:

"Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it.
Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way.
This is not philosophy. This is physics".

 ***

Regrettably, even if Yeshûa lived today, the vast majority of people would not understand such words. Only the Few would. And, just as regrettably, even today the dictum that "Many are called but only a Few are chosen" applies. As for the masses, who ignore "the call" (the silent voice within), will likely remain ignorant. After all we, and we alone, decide to be chosen.

The fact remains that the power to metamorphose the frequency of all energies is inherent within everyone of us. While the Energy of the Omnipresent Consciousness exhibits the highest frequencies, the energies generated by our brain are little more than artificial intelligence of much lower rate of frequencies.
They can, however, add to the diversity of our reality.
John of Patmos suggests that our brain can also generate energies of uncontrolled emotions (the red horse); create a reality of materialism (the black horse, leading to famine through overpopulation); and failing to recognize the true reality (the gray horse) which leads to death (erasure of energies created by our artificial intelligence).

***

Strangely enough, this knowledge began with Moses. Returning from Mount Sinai with the 10 Commandments he asked the "Burning Bush" (note the implied Energy):
"Whom shall I say that send me?"
"I AM" came the replay. "I AM has sent me to you."
Stating that I AM is the only power and it is within him.

The prophets agreed. They, and Yeshûa, also called us gods (capable of manipulating reality). The leaders of religions didn't agree; they called us sinners, which in the Greeks sport of archery means "missing the mark" (hamartia). But in religious interpretation, sins sent us to Hell (also invented by priesthood).
All of the above leads us to accept that the divine (creative) power is within us.  Not in our Egos, but in our I AM, or as I prefer to call it, in our Higher Self, the individualized Creative Energy of Consciousness. Our mind is the instrument which Higher Self uses to create such illusions of reality as we desire.
Or as Einstein said, "It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics".

Sex, sex, and sex. And a mere 2 billion people when I was born are now approaching 8 billion. In a little while, a few more billion... thanks to our propensity for sex, and we shall eat everyone, and everything, and then, promptly we shall all starve to death. Not only the Homo Stupidus (that's us) but all flora and fauna. And all this because of sex.
    Ain't we got fun?
And to encourage this fate the brilliant authors and authoresses continue to plaster semi-naked bodies on their book covers, and fill their pages with explicit sex. They want to do their part in the destruction of what's left after we got kicked out from Eden. No, not just Adam and Eve. Eden, like everything else, is a state of Consciousness. We also call it life. It has nothing to do with sex. The Individualized Consciousness that embodies itself is immortal. The product of sex is not. And soon, there will be no more bodies for the Consciousness to use, to add to the diversity and enhance the Phenomenal world. All... thanks to sex.

Yet, it doesn't have to be that way. We can start growing up. We can start remembering who we are. Or, at least, we can start our search for liberty. For Freedom. Freedom from obsession with greed, stupidity, and... sex. And that's what Marvin Clark discovered.

For many years, Marvin Clark, a man as shy as he was retiring, assumed a cloak of invisibility to protect himself from vicissitudes of everyday life. The only escapes he enjoyed were into the inner worlds of his own making. Then, a beautiful woman entered his drab reality. Suddenly, the protective ramparts he'd erected so carefully began to crumble. Would she set him free?
There is one way for you to find out. The book is a love story.  No, it is not about sex. Find out for yourself. Here are a few excerpts of what others have said about it. Let me know what you think. Please.

Timeless Love Story
...Marvin Clark—In Search of Freedom is a beautiful love story full of all the budding thoughts and feelings that go along with falling in love.
...Author Stan I. S. Law has brilliantly conveyed a timeless love affair with such precision and delicacy that you can’t help but to feel part of it.

And many more reviews. MARVIN CLARK—In Search of Freedom is unlike any other romance. Or as Adam Kerry put it: “As I am sure is true for most men, with the exception of Romeo and Juliet, I'd never read a ‘love story’. I always assumed this was strictly a woman's territory. I was wrong. I loved it.”
    So might you.
And boys and girls. And men. And women, of course.
