Great gifts are NOT given us for our own, personal, gratification. All gifts from the Higher Self, are for the sole purpose of enabling us to enhance the Phenomenal Universe. This Universe which we recognize as real, is an ongoing process of conversion of the Infinite, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Creative Energy of Consciousness into transient, phenomenal forms.
The Omnipresent Creative Energy of Consciousness is an amorphous, undifferentiated Energy vibrating at infinite frequencies. Hence it is beyond limitations of space or time.
It abides in the eternal NOW.
It is neither good nor bad.
It is absolutely non-judgemental.
Yet the moment Its frequency of vibration slows down, It becomes differentiated into infinite number of forms within our phenomenality, which define Its illusive qualities.
Such is the Universe in which we experience our Becoming.
The "gifts" are invariably given us to further enhance the Phenomenal Universe. More often than not, only great artists seem aware of this. Great artists, composers, philosophers and even great scientists tend to share their gifts with the world. They often live in relative humility, if not actual poverty, having enriched the universe with their gifts.
Hence the expression: "Many are called, but few are chosen."
What must be made clear is that we, and we alone, do the choosing. Those that use them to enhance the Universe are the Few. Those that use them for their own benefit might get rich, but their energies remain at very low frequencies. Only that which enhances the universe gains immortality.
As mentioned, other energies are recycled in the Black Holes.
Dr. Peter Thornton chose the right path. It wasn't easy. "To boldly go where no man has gone before..." you know the expression from Star Trek. Only the Few go within, not without. Hence the Phenomenal Universe continues to expand. Ever faster. More and more of us participate in its enhancement, adding to its diversity.
With gentle prods from Winston Smith, his enigmatic major-domo, Dr. Thornton slowly advanced. Sooner or later we all meet our destiny. Hence reincarnation. Yet, only Winston had chosen the most noble path. Perhaps he traveled this path before...
