ALEC is a
fantasy novel, but there is one event in it which qualifies it to be included
in my blog. It describes the momentous event of the unification of the ego with
the Self. Eventually such merging will occur in everybody’s life. Needless to
say, as each one of us is a unique individualization of the Whole, our
experiences will vary. Until that moment, however, we all regard illusion as
real. Nevertheless, it is only when our aspects of Being and Becoming (the
Passive and the Active) combine, we can begin to consciously discharge our
Dharma, i.e.: to live within the framework of the “cosmic law and order.”
Others call it the moment of SELF-REALIZATION. Until that moment, we regard
illusion as real.
However, on
that day our real life begins. We begin acting rather then reacting. We become
aware of our purpose. Only then we start our eternal journey towards Infinity.
Conscious journey. ‘Being’ represents the Infinite Creative Potential.
‘Becoming’—the Eternal Manifestation. LIFE occurs when the two combine. Until
that moment, Buddha called us asleep, and Yeshûa, later known as Jesus, called
us dead. “Let the dead bury the dead,” he’d said.
Sooner or
later we all must wake up.
