It seems that people continue to create gods in their image and likeness. There is a reason for it. From Aristotle to Hawking theories existed that the Universe, the Phenomenal Universe, existed eternally. Big bangs may have occurred many times, in different parts of cosmos, creating different galaxies or galactic clusters, but the first phenomenal version of the Universe existed before time began. After all, time is a property of the phenomenal universe, which we now know is an illusion.
Vide Albert Einstein et alli.
However, as with everything in our reality, there are consequences. If our Universe is eternal, then, in the enormity of time, evolution must have produced a number of intelligent species whom we’d now recognize as gods. Such as Yeshûa, later known as Jesus Christ.
To clarify the concept, we must define what we mean by God. According to Baruch Spinoza, since every definition limits the inherent qualities, to define God, would be to deny God. (Hence, Einstein accepted "Spinoza’s God" that cannot be defined). Thus, as we cannot define the undefinable, we are left to attempt to define certain qualities that we might recognize as divine. After many years of study and contemplation (listening to my unconscious which is the source of all inspiration), I concluded that only two qualities are needed to explain the divine influence on our phenomenal universe.
As the scientists have now proven that ALL IS ENERGY, by this definition alone, as God is the essence of ALL, must also be pure ENERGY. By inference, the DIVINE ENERGY, must be omnipresent. Hence…
1. God, or an intelligence possessed of divine characteristic, “must” manifest the ability to manipulate, i.e., metamorphose the rate of vibration of the "Original Omnipresent" Energy (thus alter it’s nature) and:
2. To produce and sustain the phenomenal universe as we know it. This ability must result in enhancing and adding to the diversity of the reality in which we continue our becoming. Otherwise, the universe as we know it would no longer exist.
After all, we now know that the phenomenal universe is an illusion, yet, our scientists assure usithat it continues to expand. An expanding illusion? Perhaps. After all, such unexplainable realities exist in our dreams. So, what must be other qualities of the Divine ENERGY?
God is, we must assume, the OMNIPRESENT, CREATIVE ENERGY that incorporates all that ever was, is, will be, or could be in Its potential form (see, Quantum Field + Consciousness). Also, being Omnipresent, IT manifests an infinite rate of vibration. To make this concept more palatable to our primitive minds, we can think of God as the Omnipresent Creative Energy of Consciousness. The degree to which we become aware of these qualities, is the degree of our advancement towards divinity.
Throughout history, there have been a few people who manifested some of “divine” traits. Quite a few could metamorphose energy to heal people (restore the original creative intent), who could travel outside the confines of space and time (Padre Pio of Pietrelcina comes to mind), and others, who manifested some qualities that seemed of divine nature. So why, after countless trillions of years of evolution, isn’t the world crawling with gods? Yeshûa provided us with partial answer. (1)
I’d suggest that when members of the human species reach the awareness of their Ego and Self uniting into a singularity of consciousness, they become aware of being pure energy, and, at least temporarily, merge with the Omnipresent Energy of Consciousness.(2) To what degree they retain their individuality is, as yet, unknown, but there is evidence that such retention is possible. Some people, in states of raised consciousness, claim to have contacted the entities (Individualizations of Omnipresent Consciousness) in their meditation.
Hence there may be many gods walking among us. In fact, we are told that we all are gods. I’d qualify this statement by adding the word “potential”. After all, we know that, as energy of consciousness, we are immortal. Einstein assured us that energy cannot be destroyed. Metamorphosed but not destroyed. Those of us who don’t make it will be recycled in Black Holes, and, eventually, try again. There is no hurry. Time is a figment of our imagination; an illusion like the rest of our reality. We, beings of pure energy, are all potential gods. It is our destiny. Let us make sure that, ultimately, we shall all fulfill it. This alone is our purpose. See you…

(1) “Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.” (John 8:21 KJV). Let us remember that “sin” comes from Greek word meaning “missing the mark”, i.e., “not quite making it.”
(2) “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30 KJV)
