ALEXANDER—Discovering the Universe

To discover Universal Laws is to know how to play the game of life. Einstein knew that. He called them: “the thoughts of God”. Only after we learn these thoughts, the Laws which govern our phenomenal reality, we can contribute to the diversification and enchantment of the Universe in which we enjoy our becoming; our transient, enchanted, miraculous life.
And, trust me, the Universe is enchanted.
Can you create a fly? Pump water from the roots embedded in soil to the highest leaf of a tree? Generate electric current from crystals one micron in size within your pituitary gland?
Can you do any of those things consciously? Not just as a biological robot equipped with a biological computer which we hardly know how to use? And yet…
The Universe is infinite and so is the potential from which it arises: the Unified Field.
The Quantum Field.
Heaven.
Trust me, you, and I and everything that surrounds us is a miracle. Yet, a miracle which we, in time, might begin to understand. For now, we are unwitting instruments of the omnipresent Creative Force. Some call it God.

Alec, now Dr. Alexander Baldwin, a brilliant physicist, has risen to unprecedented heights in his profession. He is determined to unlock the secrets of the Universe.
Yet his scientific training is at odds with the memories of his youthful exploits that draw him into the realm of irrepressible imagination, fantasy and magic. As the echoes of his adolescent jaunts demand recognition, his mind and emotions are on a perilous collision course.
All seems fine until his journey to the mysterious Machu Picchu. There, at the top of the world of the ancient Incas, Sandra returns to claim her proper place in his life. Alexander refuses to give up his freedom without a struggle.
Join him on his unquenchable search for truth. You might find it before him. Or… learn.

ALEC — Love, Magic, and Adventure

What we see with our eyes are vibrations of energy slowed down sufficiently for our eyes to become aware of them. Only energies vibrating at a rate slower than the speed of light are perceptible to our senses.
Yet between our senses and the realm of Pure Consciousness, (the Quantum Field), there is a bridge. It is imagination. To quote Albert Einstein,

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”

This is the essence of ALEC’s abilities. They reach far beyond knowledge, or even our concept of logic. Alec’s imagination takes him beyond the slow rate of vibrations of energies that comprise our phenomenal world. They can be compared to what we experience in lucid dreams.

The extraordinary adventures of Alec, take us into a world of fantasy and paranormal experience. Alec is a daydreamer. His mind is incredibly active and wanders off, frequently taking him on imaginary adventures to places he has never seen before. One day, in his room, Alec discovers Princess Sandra, a beautiful girl smiling back at him from the mirror.
She is his “other half”.

“A fascinating tale for both young and old in the world of paranormal and supernormal phenomena.”  So say the readers.
ALEC is a coming of age novel that blends the normal and paranormal into one magnificent reality. “It is an exceptional and original piece of literary fiction that breaks the barriers between real and fantasy,” writes reviewer in England.
My other reviewers tell me (read below) that my inimitable style breathes life into the unforgettable characters and adventures that Alec meets in his journeys. Join him as he conquers the unconquerable, visits the unreachable, sails the seven seas, and finally meets his own Self among the stars.
A wondrous and, I am told, an exceptionally well-written story that will tickle your mind as well as your heart. (I love my reviewers!)
ALEC is the first episode in an exciting trilogy that follows three generations of Alexander Baldwin's family. Join them in their adventures and dreams.

OLYMPUS — of Gods and Men

There is no absolute good or evil. There is only a state of equilibrium, maintained by centrifugal and centripetal forces. From this state of balance, we venture into the “unknown”, in order to diversify, hence enrich, the phenomenal Universe. This is known as evolution.
From our exploratory ventures, we return to the Straight and Narrow, the Event Horizon, to try later again. The Event Horizon is the only Universe perceptible to our senses. All else is unknown and unpredictable, hence, creative.
All this activity within the three-dimensional Universe concerns only the phenomenal reality. The omnipresent state of Being remains ever static in the Eternal Now. It is the reality of the Potential.

A Few ancient mystics knew this.
Today we refer to it as the Quantum Field.

To achieve the new, to reach beyond the known, the established, the safe, we need power. Alas, as we all know, power corrupts by aggrandizing the wielder and not the recipient of the process.
A Hobson’s choice?
Hence the Law of Karma. It restores the balance. Doing the right thing beyond the visible or predictable horizon is no easy matter. Indeed, there is only one way to avoid the scourge of corruption, and that is to be guided by the Self and not the Ego.
There is a fundamental difference.
Ego is limited to a single person, while Self is inseparable from the Whole. If you enrich the phenomenal reality in a manner in which most might benefit, the danger of falling under the beguiling pull of corruption is minimized.
I strongly suspect that those who have learned to wield power guided only by the commands of their Self, by the Consciousness of their incorruptible Being, were regarded by the rest of us as gods.
Perhaps the Olympus was like that.

Hence OLYMPUS — of Gods and Men. The capital G belongs only in the title. When applied to men, we tend to subjugate Being to Becoming. Hence, there must be a periodic cleansing process.
In my novel, even as all hell breaks loose due to Pluto Effect our heroes escape to Milos. Only there they have a chance to survive apocalyptic global upheavals, caused by the reversal of polarity of magnetic poles.
Governments and social structures collapse. A few men and women, advanced beings, gather in secret sanctuaries to protect the remnants of human heritage.
Eventually, Ambrosia and Simon awaken to the magnificent powers lying dormant within them. This could be… you!

The GATE—Things my Mother told Me

You may have read this blog in February. I think my Mother would like me to repeat it. After all, this Sunday is her Special Day.

We all grow old. This is as inevitable as tomorrow following today. It’s how we get there that matters.
This is not really a blog.
This is my need to share with you the memories of my Mother, even though she left her phenomenal body some years ago. The novel I’d written in her honour is only partially biographical, but all elements in it are based on truth, if not actual events.
It is also an intriguing and, hopefully, captivating look at the last sixty years of Western Culture. While witnessing hilarious life in an Old Peoples’ home, we learn about Alzheimer’s and Dementia. This book also offers you a chance to prepare for old age with subtle wit, compassion, faith, and lots of laughter.
If you have grandparents whose life consist of just memories—read this.
If you have a mother or a father whose heads are turning gray—read this.
If you are reaching the age of retirement from active life, and occasionally forget what day of this week this is—read this.
And if you are still young, physically and mentally, then read this to know how the others might feel. Read this to laugh, and cry, and feel feelings you didn’t know well within you. Read this book to enjoy life until the very end.
Read this for the pure joy of living, but also learn.

People have said that “The Gate—Things my Mother told me” draws you in with subtlety, wit, compassion and faith. It holds you even though we all know how her story is going to end. It will be of particular interest to people who experienced Alzheimer's or Dementia in their immediate family.

"This is a jewel of a piece of writing…"
wrote Kate Jones on Amazon

Please, read the reviews on Amazon. They’ll tell you more about this book than I ever could. In a way, this is a blog glorifying Old Age. Trust me. It is more than you ever imagined.
