It seems that Jains had the right idea. Their evolution progresses in cycles, starting at the apex and gradually descending to nadir, only to start again at the top in a new cycle.
The Judeo-Christian philosophy seems to have borrowed the idea from them. We started in Eden, a veritable Paradise, only to lose our privileges under the auspices of our exulted Ego. The efforts of Moses, Yeshûa, and a host of prophets, all of whom advocated the power of the I AM, (of our Higher Self) were soon forgotten. Instead we chose to be guided by a primitive biological computer known as our brain, to descend to the nadir of our potential.
To this day few appear to believe that the Creative Power of the Energy they regard (rightly) as God lingers within us. This would be truly tragic if it weren't for the fact that we now also know that we are also Energy, and as such we are indestructible, hence immortal. We have all infinity in which to learn about our potential. About our ability to create our own reality. Countless realities.
But only... if we try.
Until, in the fullness of phenomenal time, beyond the highest level of individualization, some of us will merge, again, with the...
Omnipresent Creative Energy of Consciousness.

Thus the problem with the Zodiac appears to be that it progresses in cycles. We start each New Age at the top and gradually, in a little over 2000 years, we descent to the nadir of our consciousness. A few of us will retain the new gifts and move on the eternal journey. Many, however, will reincarnate into the same Zodiac Age to try and learn, again.
Let us never forget that "many are called but only a few are chosen." We do the choosing. And then, sadly, there are the masses who'd never even heard the call...
(Perhaps they were too busy making money?)
Those who didn't even make an effort to "listen" might be relegated to a lover level, or even recycled (in Black Holes) forfeiting their apparently unresponsive "human" state of consciousness. (The consciousness generated by our brain). Also, we must never forget the guidelines of the Universal Laws. The Laws enforced by the irrepressible Law of Karma.
Yet, our divine heritage allows us to absorb the new gifts at our own pace. This defines our free will. However, we must bear the consequences of our choices.

There is much more about all this in my book. Also, I offer evidence that knowledge of the truth has been known to the ancient people. Since, we have regressed, although we have new evidence supporting their conclusions.
The good news is that the cycles of the Zodiac will continue ad infinitum, each time raising the rate of vibrations of our artificial intelligence
generated by our brain.
The mysteries, the powers and the efficacy
of the Zodiac seem to border on magic. Shouldn't you embark
on your journey to infinity today? You'll never regret it. Right now?
