HEAVEN, HELL AND DEVACHAN

Thousands of years before our physicists discovered that energy is indestructible, our ancient scholars knew that we are immortal. From the time of Moses, some 3500 years ago, the real "you" is, was, and always will be, the "I AM". The changeless, permanent, Individualized Energy of Being.
A "God" invented by us, humans, ergo by the artificial intelligence generated by our brains, must, virtually by definition, be a "God" that oversees a reality of duality. Good and evil are necessary components of such a reality. Religions, in order to control our minds, raised this concept to the ultimate carrot and the ultimate stick.
To artificial concepts of HEAVEN and HELL.
Such extremes can only exist in the minds of people abiding in the Phenomenal Reality.
Actually, the Phenomenal Universe is sustained by a state of balance, hence by the "straight and narrow" median between two extremes. Such phenomenal realities exist in infinite numbers above the one in which we enjoy our becoming. They are all created by the thoughts  generated by our brains. Hence, by our artificial (illusory, transient) intelligence.
There are as many realities as there are intelligent beings on Earth, or anywhere else. The Original Indestructible Omnipresent Energy can metamorphose its rate of vibration in equally infinite number of ways.
Furthermore, the artificial (illusory) reality of the Phenomenal Universe is sustained by a state of balance. The balance between the extreme reality of Being and of the other extreme of stasis, which gives an impression of solidity, i.e.: of matter. Diversity provides expansion.

Only the Omnipresent Energy is permanent. All lower rates of vibrations are transient. Once we accept the premise of indestructibility of energy, and the attribute of Energy to manifest at infinite rates of vibration, we can also accept the concept of DEVACHAN which, according to the original teaching of theosophy by H.P. Blavatzky, means the "dwelling of the gods." This affirms ancient Hebrew philosophy that  "ye are gods", though it refers only to people that are aware of their potential. This potential is normally referred to as our Higher Self, that corresponds to the Mosaic I AM.
Each successive level of Devachan is built on a reality of higher rates of vibration. As such levels stretch to infinity, our immortality is assured.

To make quite sure that you don't include me in the legions of religious preachers, below my atheistic concept of reality.

God is the Omnipresent Indestructible Creative Energy of Consciousness.
Being Omnipresent, the Energy is also within us.
When we fully realize that,
we become as creative as gods.

    It's as simple as that.
Our job is to enhance and diversity the Phenomenal Universe. Gods, with a small "g" can metamorphose the rate of vibrations of energy. Hence, they can create (transient) reality.

If the personality generated by the creative thoughts of our brains shows promise, it gets reincarnated. And if not, we get recycled in Black Holes, where the energies get accelerated to the original (infinite) rate of vibration.  Eventually, such recycled energies become individualized and... "da capo al fine." Only, there is no..." fine." The process is eternal. That's what gods are. Eternal within infinite individualizations. We are ONE.

Or... you can choose the more traditional way, also studiously ignored by the established churches. Yet the ancients knew a great deal more than we know today. They, too, have been aware of our immortality. Only the semantics have changed.
To be fair I give you their version. Their claim is just as convincing:

Thomas claims: “Whoever finds the meaning of these words will not taste death.”

And Jesus said: “The one who seeks should not cease seeking until he finds. And when he finds, he will be dismayed. And when he is dismayed, he will be astonished.  And he will be king over the All.”

Trust me, you will be dismayed, and then... astonished.
