The purpose of life is happiness. Regrettably, "on Earth" it can only be achieved if we at least fulfill the exigencies of Isaac Newton's Law of Cause and Effect. Originally it was known as Karma, which is also the Law of Cause and Effect but it includes ALL rates of vibrations i.e.: of all energies manifest in the Phenomenal Universe.
All aspects of Phenomenal Realities
are created by slowing down the infinite rate of vibrations
of the Omnipresent Creative Energy.
Hence, they are all energy. If we accept Albert Einstein's premise that ALL IS ENERGY, this will include in the Law of Karma all thoughts, emotions and other intangible energies generated by our brain and neurological systems, which, heretofore, are not recognized by our scientists as prime energies. I am referring to the energies that are instrumental in the causative, or creative functions of our reality.
This supposition is further enforced by his, i.e.: Einstein's statement that the reality which we recognize as perceptible to our senses is, in fact, an illusion. It is no more real than the reality we experience in our dreams which, surely, we all recognize as real while... dreaming.
Becoming is, of course, the definition of life itself. While Being defines our true, unchangeable nature, i.e.: every one of us in an inseparable Individualization of the Omnipresent Creative Energy of Consciousness (to which our religious fraternities refer as God). It seems that most of us are quite unaware of this magnificent essence of our Being.
And yet, this Unique Individualization within every one of us is the Creator, Maintainer, and Terminator of our transient condition of Becoming. Here we have the echoes of the ancient Hindu philosophy which elevated all three functions to divinity.
Let us not forget that all flora and fauna are also guided by Creative Intelligence.
The Hindu Trimurti is the progenitor of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. In both religions, the "Three are One".
Yet we must never forget that the purpose of life is to reach a state of happiness.
"Heaven is within you," remember?
And if this includes a glass of wine, so be it!
Hence, once again, we see that the
knowledge of the Truth has been with us from time immemorial, yet we, in
irrepressible ambition to convert our illusory reality to a reality of solid
matter and measurable energy, are drifting further and further from the truth.
Our artificial reality is the product of thoughts generated by our brain, i.e.:
our biological computer. Its purpose is to enhance and to increase the diversity of the phenomenal
illusory creation, and NOT to accept our dream as real.

The paradox of rejecting the illusion of the Phenomenal Universe is that personal happiness is virtually impossible. It forces us into a reality of duality, of good and evil, which does not exist in the state of Being. The Essays below illustrate my long journey toward the conclusions presented above. This perception of reality might be more acceptable if you follow an equally exacting route of discovery.
But we must never forget that the purpose of life is to reach a state of happiness. And, please, don't forget that glass of wine!
