Ever allowing for our mental limitations, we should endeavour to arrive at guidelines of life, which are referred to as Universal Laws. They could be defined as rules absence of which the world, as we know it, would not exist. Approaching reality in this manner, the conclusions would be relatively easy to apprehend.
We must start by observing what we believe is the present reality. While allowing for Einstein's assurance that the Phenomenal Universe is an illusion, let us attempt to observe what forces control the evolution to arrive at the present illusion. After all, even dreams are, or can be, very realistic to the dreamer. When I sit down in a chair, in my dream, I don't think that it is made of invisible atoms. Whatever illusion we imagine, that illusion controls our perception of reality.
My previous studies led me to the following conclusions. Regardless what other Laws may have influenced our present conditions, the following must have been present to arrive at what we perceive, today, as our reality. I am assuming the latest scientific conclusions that all is energy.
1. In order to assure universal evolution, the creative energy must be omnipresent.
2. An energy that is omnipresent must exhibit an infinite frequency of vibrations.
3. The only such energy is Consciousness.
4. To ensure intelligent creativity, this energy must be omniscient.
5. To manifest continuous expansion yet maintaining apparent unity
the centrifugal and centripetal forces must maintain balance.
6. To assure continuous expansion of the Universe, the omnipresent creative energy of Consciousness must evolve complex energies capable of generating more diversity.
7. As the expansion of the Universe is accelerating, the metamorphoses of frequencies of vibration must also be on an increase. Hence evolution.
And that's about all. The rest, appear to be byproducts of these rules and, essentially, they seem to be up to us. Our creative activities, "good or bad" for individual individualizations, supply new diverse energies, stimulating Universal expansion.
To put it in slightly different way, with the enormity of the Phenomenal Universe we must assume a near-infinite complex energies that contribute to the diversity and hence expansion of the Phenomenal Universe which, though in constant metamorphosis, is indestructible, yet subject to continuous change. Hopefully, these premises will lead, or at least contribute, to the evolution of Secular Ethics. My various blogs discuss these matters at length. Enjoy!
