The transition from one Age of Zodiac to another is always traumatic. After all, we had been given more than 2000 years to learn a new lesson, and the Omnipresent Creative Energy of Consciousness seems well aware that the previous lesson has exhausted its efficacy.
Forget the mysterious old hags, or young ones for that matter, who offer to predict the colour of your child's eyes by interpreting the movement of planets. Such vein soothsayers have done to astrology what various churches have done to the teachings of great prophets and Yeshûa. Neither of them have anything to do with wisdom, let alone truth.
Astrology
originated in Babylon far, far in antiquity. Some 2,400 years ago, the Babylonians developed their own form of horoscopes resulting from their knowledge of astronomy.
Astrology deals with the Zodiac, which consists of 12 cycles, or Ages, spread over 26,000 years. They have nothing to do with the colour of your eyes, your past or future, of your luck or lack of it, over the span of your life. We still benefit from the knowledge learned by Babylonians.
The ancient scientists have discovered that every cycle of the 12 Ages of the Zodiac, appears to influence the development of specific traits in our psychology. Whether we develop them or not is still up to us, and not up to the stars. We can take advantage of the particular rates of vibrations that appear to become manifest during the specific Ages.
While the past Age of the Zodiac, the Age of Pisces, appears to have developed individual leaders among us, the present Age, the Age of Aquarius, is said to offer conditions in which vast numbers of people will become aware of their inherent potential.
Whether they use this potential is, as always, up to them.
The opportunity will be there.

However, as we know, from Einstein, as well from ancient history, we must forget the old teaching, to be able to absorb the new. The old teaching will remain recorded in our subconscious, leaving our conscious mind to better handle the new teaching, or to better absorb the opportunities that will present themselves.
We are dealing with the
Potential Energy of our Consciousness
In the Bible, this is explained in the parable about not putting new wine into old skins. We must remember that some 2000 years ago the concept of Omnipresent Energy, let alone it individualizing itself as Consciousness in all living entities, would have been beyond their understanding. It is beyond some peoples' even today. Yet most of us know that we are dealing with Single Omnipresent Energy, which metamorphoses Itself into complex structures of infinitely diverse rates of vibrations.
As mentioned, the transition from the past to present Age can be very traumatic. We can only speculate what it might be. I have indulged in such speculations in the second book of my Aquarius Trilogy.
I called it the PLUTO EFFECT.
The title is explained in the book.
Of one thing we may be sure. We are still such a primitive species that unless we learn as much as we can about the Zodiac Ages, our chances of survival the dangers inherent in the Pluto Effect are greatly reduced. This is true, of course, of any major change, be it political, climatic, or any other.
Knowledge is our only key for survival. And... we are running out of time. Please, learn as much as you can. Both, from speculative fiction, (in may have been inspired), and from non-fiction. From any other source. Pluto Effect is here. Now. Good luck.

You might want to read the whole Trilogy.
It helped me to understand the process.
