Peter and Paul: ETERNAL NOW

For some reason, people are unwilling to accept that we all live in the eternal NOW. We change our clothing daily, yet changing our physical bodies, even once in a while, we find hard to accept. And yet we have the same genes, often inherit the same or similar physical and mental abilities (hopefully we get rid of the bad stuff). It seems that the real "I AM" is the very same me which I have been for countless generations.

No, we are not eternal. We had a beginning.

There was a moment in the Eternal Now in which the Omnipresent Creative Energy of Consciousness has individualized Itself into a singular expression to form a complex, though illusory organism in the Phenomenal Reality. Perhaps out of inherent curiosity? You might say that this Eternal Consciousness began to dream. And why not. Isn't Consciousness omnipresent? Prof. Richard Feynman, the Nobel Laureate in physics, put it a little differently. He said...

"Here I stand, atoms with consciousness, matter with curiosity.

A universe of atoms, and atom in the universe..."

...it's all energy, added Einstein, hence... atoms are an illusion. Like in a dream? Atoms maybe 99.99% empty space, but there are as many atoms in empty space as empty space within an atom. That could make both pretty omnipresent, and both exhibiting consciousness. I happen to agree with Professor Feynman. I wonder how many scientists agree with him, let alone with little moi?

Perhaps physics and philosophy are not that far apart...

There is one problem, or perhaps... a blessing? While the Eternal Consciousness is perfect in Its potential, you and I, and all Its countless individualizations, can only manifest Its perfection in the infinity of Becoming. In the infinity of the glorious, magnificent, eternal Dream of Becoming. And since, by definition, infinity is endless, only the Eternal NOW can sate Its desire for perfection.

This may not satisfy the skeptics who reject perfection as a state of Being, yet they, too, enjoy the unbeknown to them I AM, that fulminates within the unconscious aspect of their Ego. The Ego is intended to evolve towards the full understanding of its origin, yet it seems that most of us confuse the I AM with some religious concept of a soul, which is no more than the sum-total of all memories each one of us maintains from the moment our brain generated sufficient thoughts to create an Ego. Ego is the sum-total of what makes us different from each other. What sets us apart.

And yet... we are ONE.

A single dream of the Omnipresent Consciousness.

There maybe many interpretations of all of the above. I offer one of them. I offer a tiny fragment of the eternal NOW. Please, read my book, and then share your thoughts with us. Thank you.

And this brings us to my novel, NOW—Being & Becoming. Being represents our permanent existence personified by our Higher Self, and Becoming is the transient illusory persona, a product generated by our brain, which we know as Ego.

Nevertheless, to quote Einstein, the illusory persona is "a very persistent one." If we succeed in enhancing the Phenomenal Universe, i.e.: the reality of our Becoming, the qualities of our transient persona are reincarnated to continue the good work. Not good for us, but for the universe.
