As you read on Amazon, this is a love story. Right from the start mystery engulfs our hero. Dr. Peter Thornton MD, a man at the top of his career, discovers a gift of healing manifesting through his unwilling hands. The ‘gift’ turns into an insidious curse. He cannot practice medicine and “witchcraft” simultaneously.
Kidnapping, international intrigue, and rapid journeys across Europe follow. Peter ends up at the Vatican where he learns how to overcome death itself.
It seems that we, humans, consist of tiny bits of vibrating strings. According to our scientists, everything does. These strings are the first metamorphosis into which the Omnipresent Consciousness, vibrating at an infinite rate, manifests Itself in the phenomenal Universe.
After countless billions of years, a humanoid who may have resembled our form, converted some such vibrating fields of energy into a form resembling himself. It may or may not have happened that way. Nevertheless, we, the men and women of today, if we do not destroy ourselves through our greed and egomania, might some day repeat this process again. And again.
In a few million years, or so.
And this is the path on which Winston embarked. He tried to inspire Dr. Peter Thornton to follow in his footsteps. First subliminally, then, slowly, with Winston’s help, Peter became aware of the creative juices stirring within his psyche. He tried to resist them, perhaps escape from them, but it seems that his Self was stronger than his Ego. One can but wonder how many of us had the same stirring within, and we rejected it until our resistance ruined our lives.
Perhaps we should remember that he or she who follows their destiny are richly rewarded, whereas the consequences of refusal are all of our own making.
It is wiser to be grateful.
Why? Because everything in our lives always happens for our benefit. Never otherwise. Peter learned this the hard way, but he did learn. That’s how the Omnipresent Energy of Consciousness functions. It is complete in Its Potential, yet eternal in Its manifestation. It is also completely impersonal, unemotional, non-judgmental, and always fair. As Lao Tse so aptly observed:
“The Way of Heaven is always impartial...”
We should all keep a keen lookout for the stirring within our psyches. It might be happening even now.

ReplyDeleteJust to make sure that you're aware, the Hebrew word Elohim means Gods, plural, not a single God. The "Father" mentioned by Yeshûa is "in spirit", not an individualized Entity.
