There is a great misunderstanding, among many of us, who assume that only the great artists, composers, scientists, philosophers or even political or religious leaders, contribute to the evolutionary nature of Homo Sapiens, let alone to the enhancement of the Universe. Many of them will be "recycled" the moment they vacate their spurious bodies.
Why spurious?
Because the bodies are not real. They are transient illusions. Their real bodies are the cumulative memory of their manifestation in the Phenomenal Reality, from the day they were no more than entities aware of their individuality. They could well retreat to prehuman incarnation.
Luckily for us, the mystery has been solved some 2000 years ago. There is a single expression that explain this:
Many are called, but few area chosen.
All people who assume that Matthew, the evangelist, made a mistake, that in fact all are called, are wrong. Matthew didn't make mistakes. Not when he was quoting his Master. The fact is that although many are called, the vast majority never heard the call, in fact they never even heard the expression. They don't know that they might, or might have been, called. No. The vast majority never imagined that they might be called.
And what is the enigmatic call?
The acceptance that the good of others is as important as the good of oneself. Now, if we also change the orthography of oneself to "one's Self", then we recognize the indivisible union of the human species, if not of all the living creature of both, flora and fauna.
After all, the Phenomenal World is but a transient expression, an illusory manifestation of the Omnipresent Creative Energy. Its rate of vibration is, obviously, very much slowed down to our perceptions, but still, the Original Energy of Consciousness and it's transient descent to our rate of vibration remains the same Energy.
We are all ONE.
Yet... only some are called, and fewer still are chosen.
And what is the selection process? Here's the secret. We, and only we, do the choosing. The reason is quite simple. In the infinite diversity of creation every single one of us has a different function to fulfill, a different talent to contribute to the enhancement of the totality of the Phenomenal Universe. All we need to provide is a tiny detail of the Universe. After all, great art is always characterized by great attention to detail. Or, to quote Mies van der Rohe, the famed architect:
"God is in the details.
I, having spent 3 decades in the profession of architecture, agree. As did my clients. And it takes many people to fulfill this need. Yet only a few... succeed.
Yet the nature of the Phenomenal world consists of such incredible diversity, that there is room for everyone willing to help. You can enhance the world with a beautiful building, but also with a tree planted just in the right spot. You can make a painting or a sculpture that will enhance the life of another human being. You can compose a song that will put a smile on the lips of a lonely person. You can right a poem; help someone across the street.
You should try to create something.
Good or bad, but sincere, your effort will count. All's energy, remember?
To repeat, the beauty of the phenomenal world, still but a fragmentary manifestation of the Potential of the Creative Energy of Consciousness, already consists of quite incredible diversity. The scientists tell us that there are about 391,000 species of vascular plants, of which 369,000 species are flowering plants. We are surrounded by beauty of flowers, by miracles in which someone, somewhere, sometime participated.
The next might be you. Don't give up. Whatever enhancement you provide will make your Ego immortal. Why? Because part of you will have merged with the Creative Energy within you. With the energy of I AM.
